Beyond the Black Rainbow trailer
Here is the trailer for the movie directed by Panos Cosmatos that I did the storyboards for.
You can check them out on the storyboard page.
Death Never Comes Cheap
These are parts of a movie I made with the help of Liesbeth, Sophie and Bart from Belgium. It’s more like a trailer I guess. It was interspersed amongst a lot of other stuff in the movie that Liesbeth directed about the Hank and the Lily. One day I will cobble together all the footage and release it for reals. It cracks me up in the opening when it says ‘written and directed’ by me. I mean, not really. It was more of a made up on the spot, fly by the seat of our pants sorta deal, but the Belgians did the credits.
Until the full version comes out, soak up some righteously bad acting by Lily Fawn and myself! My regret is that Cecil the Weasel’s parts ended up on the cutting room floor. Comic genius that guy. The star of the show is definitely Alison Theirrault as Palmeira of the Ponds, the siren mermaid at the Bar at the Bottom of the Sea.
The most valuable thing I learned from this, making movies is awesome.
Thanks to Ryan Beattie of Himalayan Bear for the title. He has a great song of the same name.
The Crying Song.
Here’s a weird video that Jessica Slavik, director of ‘Spacemare’, Jimbo, and I made one night. This song is for crying. Not to be confused with Nick Cave’s weeping song. Different thing entirely.
The premise being that I crash a party at Britt Small’s house, director of Atomic Vaudeville, and bum every one out.
This sucker is a live, thus somewhat shitty, recording. My apologies for the quality. I like when Sarah Pelzer gets so depressed she shoots herself in the head at the end.
Lily’s Dream Song Video
I shot this video for Lily in one day. It was one of those things, we couldn’t stop filming her owl, and the next day when I went to look at the footage, it was over 50% OWL!! Unfortunately Mr. Owl didn’t actually ‘read’ well, he just looks like a crappy stuffed owl. He cracks me up every time I see him now. Live n learn. Made in two days! I did this as a challenge to prove to myself that music videos don’t have to take 6 months to make, as some of them have.
